Cricut Machines - does anyone have one?
Hi all,
Just wanted some opinions on the Cricut die cutting machines. Jo-Ann Fabric has some pretty good online deals on them this week. Since I'm a teacher, I'm thinking about buying one for making stuff for my classroom. Even with the sale, though, the machines are still pretty pricey. So Cricut owners: would you mind giving me some feedback before I commit to buying one? Thanks! (Oh - and do they have Greek letter cartridges?) |
Haven't used mine in FOREVER, but that was just because I got busy. They are FANTASTIC!! Just make sure you don't get the small one, it can't do
much of anything. As for the Greek letter cartridges, I don't know, but I'm going to check right now! |
I wouldn't be surprised if they had Greek letters because they have SO many shapes. One of the advisers for my undergrad chapter let me use this to make name tags for each round of recruitment, and they were SO cute!

I couldn't find a cricut Greek Alphabet cartridge but this newsletter http://www.cricut.com/newsletters/volume.aspx?ID=37 shows how to make all the letters with available cartridges.

So I ended up getting the Cricut Personal Cutter. Yes, I know it's the small one, but I really am only going to use it for paper crafting for homecoming events. It was only $99 at Big Lots, and I had a 20 percent off coupon so I got it for a steal!
