Greek Merchandise for A.O.E.
Hi ladies!
Because our organization is relatively small, ordering items with our name/mascot/colors is economically unfeasible for small chapters. But if there was enough participation perhaps we could buy in bulk or make a deal with a smaller production company and then distribute through a website and at Convention. I hope this could be sponsored by the IEB eventually but I wasn't sure if there was even enough interest in it to put together a proposal. Could you list any items you think would sell well with your chapter or to alumnae? I'll start a list of items I've brainstormed. Thanks! Lettered Flip flops Cute lettered pens, pencils, cups, dry erase boards (Bid Day items) Notepads Welcome Mats Coin/ID holders Keychains Window Decals Bumper stickers Notebooks Picture Frames Pins Koozies Water Bottles Lanyards |
I'm alum now, so am unsure of what my chapter would buy, but these are places you can get the following items at no minimums for your current chapter (or you personally, as I did many times!). You can buy pretty much everything individually:
Lettered Flip flops http://somethinggreek.com/shop/shope...+Flops&id=2428 and http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...ed-flip-flops/ Cute lettered pens, pencils, cups, dry erase boards (Bid Day items) www.vistaprint.com and http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com Notepads www.vistaprint.com Welcome Mats- I haven't found this yet and would love it. This site has pillowcases and throw blankets, though: http://www.customgreekthreads.com/category_s/51.htm Coin/ID holders http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...ith-id-holder/ Keychains www.vistaprint.com Window Decalswww.vistaprint.com Bumper stickers www.vistaprint.com Notebooks www.vistaprint.com Picture FramesMagnetic: http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...rority-frames/ Wooden: http://somethinggreek.com/shop/shope...+Frame&id=1501 Metal: http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...picture-frame/ Pins Do you mean buttons or like jewlery pins? If you mean jewlery, check through the IEB website. If you mean buttons, Zazzle.com is amazing. Check the recruitment thread for the ones I ordered my active chapter. Koozies http://www.greekgear.com/greekcancoozie.html Water Bottles http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...-water-bottle/ and http://www.marilynskeepsakes.com/a-g...water-bottles/ Lanyards Have not found ------------------ Basically, for any paper products Vistaprint.com is the way to go. It's cheap, quick, and pretty nice. I adore Marilyn's Keepsakes for anything else. I've gotten about 1/3 of the sorority products and still adore all of them (or passed them on to girls who love them equally!) Also, since this is a merchandise thread, www.gonegreek.com has good high-quality clothing! |
Wow, thanks! A lot of that is helpful. I'm alum too so I may be a bit out of touch with what is wanted by the girls. I have seen a lot of that merchandise online, but the problem is a lot of it doesn't look I guess "cute"? I think its actually easier to find nice stuff than fun stuff. I.e. I LOVE Vistaprint, but I wouldn't want their keychains. Bc you can get any generic product personalized but sometimes that's just what it comes out looking like instead of some made custom from the beginning. I checked out that Alexandra & Co. and I think that's more along the lines of what I was thinking. I really hope IEB looks into A&Co. It would be awesome!

I would die for Alexandria&Co stuff. It's all adorable.
Somethinggreek.com has some nicer, engraved keychains, but they aren't the adorable Alexandria and Co. keychains. All the Marilyn's Keepsakes stuff is super cute, though. Our girls tend to really adore them. You have to be careful with the Vistaprint stuff. They have a few limited, adorable designs. We got these super cute stickers, some with white roses and some with dolphins. I hope we do the Alexandria and Co soon. Ohnoitsjess- what minimum did they need? |
I have a few items from Marilyn's Keepsakes. I really like all of them.

We ordered our shirts for this year's intramural team from Greek U. They haven't come yet, so I'll let y'all know how they are.
