Chi Omega or Tri Delta...?
I am thinking about joining a sorority this fall at my college. I will be a sophomore, so I have done rush but then decided it wasn't the right time for me to join. Now, I would like to go through rush again and I am deciding between Chi Omega and Tri Delta in Wyoming. There were people from both sororities in my classes and I know some of them, but I know the people from Chi O better.
The only thing I'm mainy worried about is the initiation. There are strict rules against hazing but I'm curious as to if they do it anyways. I have not seen or heard anything too horrible, so maybe it's not as bad as I think. Also, does anyone know the reputations for both? Thank you :) |

I would definitely go with Delta Delta Delta because the Saturday Night Live skit about them was so funny!

I like Chi Omega a little better than Tri Delta but that's just my opinion.

I don't like red and yellow as a color pairing, but then 3 triangles is too symmetrical.
But seriously, let me do you a favor. All NPC sororities have strict anti-hazing rules, and if they DID haze, you wouldn't be hearing about it here. Presume they follow the rules and if they don't, come back here and someone will give you the phone number to your national headquarters. |
Do some searches on here and then get back to us with some other, more appropriate questions regarding rush.

Let's make it easy, which colors look better on you? Cardinal & straw, or silver, blue and gold? Are you allergic to pine trees? I am, so I could never be a TriDelta. Do you speak dolphin or owl? Oh here's the truth though, you have to tell the Tootsie Owl how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop or you can't initiate into ChiO. |
My pictures wouldn't work.
Do you like to eat mice or do you prefer fish? This is important. |
