I'm going to try to say this in the nicest way possible:

i'm not going to quote you, but you may want to delete/edit your post.

It's considered in poor taste to proclaim your love for a chapter in such a public place.

It's kind of like proclaiming your love for a guy on the 2nd date, if you will.

Not saying this to be rude, but you never know who is reading or what someone may think of it (presumptuous?).

OK. So KSU suggested that she edit her post and the OP did in fact edit 5 minutes after that. Therefore, was the orginal pre-edited post even more :eek: than this one? Because what I am seeing right now should be removed entirely

Also, I clearly must be sleep deprived because I couldn't for the life of me figure out what she meant by "weeding traditions!" It took about 5 minutes and several read throughs for it to finally click. I thought that maybe the ZTAs had some sort of gardening ritual that the rest of us are missing!

After I cringed, then I thought of the folly of youth; her enthusiasm is obvious, but again I am reminded of the Internet Generation and how They Don't Get It when it comes to discretion. I'm also grateful that no one has QFPed and hope that the OP will return ASAP and delete her post. People are being very very kind here, but that's not to say it will last forever and ever.

I don't think she wants to be discrete. After reading what she has so far on her story (only 3 sororities on the 2nd day), I think she's hoping that the Zetas from her school do find this and realize how badly she wants to be in their chapter.

Not the most desperate "I WANT A BID TO YOUR SORORITY!!!" I've ever encountered, but to the OP (and any other PMNs reading), desperate attempts to get a sorority to notice you rarely end well...

Again, I am in NO way trying to be mean in what I posted.

Since you're in the middle of recruitment, I thought it would be best to remind you (nicely) that sorority members aren't alwys flattered by this kind of thing.

Some take it to mean "she thinks she's for sure in because she's a legacy."

That may not be your intention, but it's the middle of recruitment and you never know how someone could react.

I do wish you the best of luck with the rest of recruitment though.
