Fraternities In Canada

Hi, I'm going to the University of Toronto in September and want to join a fraternity. The fraternity I've been researching the most is Beta Theta Pi. My question is how what other fraternities are there at UofT and which ones are considered the most well known/popular?

There are quite a few fraternities in U of T, so you shouldn't have a problem finding your fit. No one's going to tell you reputations on here, so you're going to have to to actually talk to the chapters to find what exactly it is you are looking for for yourself. Good luck!

Thanks, I've been trying to find info on some, but it seems info on the web is pretty scarse, specially about the dates of when you can actually go and try to receive a bid

Why not contact the school/office of Greek Life?

In Canada, the universities do not endorse, associate with, or recognise sororities or fraternities. I don't know why. But it's impossible to find any updated information online. Even email addresses I found were outdated.

Some universities DO recognise Greek groups, it's individual by each campus. On my campus, we're recognised but not given any money by the student union.

www.canadiangreeks.com - It's not that hard to find this website if you find any time looking at all. You're going to have to do what the rest of us on campuses with smaller Greek communities do, and actually research chapters yourself. If you've gotten yourself into university, you should at least be able to do that.

except that I've been to that website and it is outdated, like I said. Maybe you should do your own research before posting useless information.

Oh. This will end well.

So you can't use that list to contact their international headquarters to find out if there is any way to contact the chapter yourself? It's not THAT difficult to email someone.
I actually have letters, what do you have?

Well, almost every fraternity member I know has that at the top of their list for qualities in a new member.

Kind of hard to do since I have a penis. If you had looked on that site you would have seen Psi U is a fraternity.

Don't you know looking for information is bad :(

Especially checking even wikipedia for the information you're looking for.
