AXiD polos
 

I have tried a dozen of the stores in Xi Boutique, but so many of them are bulk orders only, or don't have what I want. It's pretty simple. I want a light blue polo (think the light blue of the Autism Speaks polos) with dark blue letters embroidered on the left breast pocket area. Maybe Alpha Xi Delta written out under it, or 1893. And I only want one or two, just for me.

Simple, but I couldn't find it. Help!!

Did you try Googling "Greek Clothing" or something of that sort?

I really want a dark blue polo dress with light blue or yellow letters (small) on one side (like what you described... just opposite colors!) But I don't know if I would look good in a polo dress, that's why I haven't bought one. Because I found it somewhere and I'm pretty sure you didn't have to order in bulk! :)

Try ebay also. There are companies on there that will make anything you want..

Lands End does monogrammed polos--great quality--and I think they do Greek letters!

another suggestion: there are a couple of local shops that cater to the University population; check in your area to see if there are any that can do what you're asking for. I'm guessing that, based on your description, others may want one when they see what yours looks like.

I know an Alpha Xi who does custom cross-stitch polos, btw, but I am NOT volunteering her services! She might just smack me.

You may also check in your hometown. Here in Mobile, there are about a dozen gift and accessory stores that do personalizaton, including Greek letters. The can put your letters on just about ANYTHING!

I am taking AZ Theta's suggestion and asking AZ Alpha Xi to do it for me!!

You can check out www.customgreekthreads.com and you can order a polo with AXD letters and then add the embroidery option... other than that if you're just getting it for yourself, you can purchase the polo you want and then take it to an embroidery place (some are little stands in the malls where I live) and have them do it. I got a quote from them once and it was $10 to embroider the greek letters, Alpha Xi Delta written underneath, and our names. Hope that helps!
