Questions

Hey everyone!

So, I will be going through recruitment soon and I know there was a thread a while back (or I searched it, I can't remember) on good questions to ask during recruitment, but either it got taken down, my memory is wrong, or.. something. Ha ha.

But here's my question, I know the typical questions like Majors, Hometown, year in school, and the 'boring' type things will be asked, but what about past that? I mean, you can only talk about those things for so long, then what is brought up? ((Obviously, if it's a really good connection, you will talk about whatever flows naturally, but I am talking about what the actives are allowed to ask about.))

Also, what about questions from the PNMs? What are some good questions to ask? When are the 'tricky' questions appropriate? Tricky meaning things like dues, or questions on what the sorority does during the year (meaning social engagements), or even things like living in the house (if there is one). I understand that it's not all about money or date dashes, but they are things a PNM (like myself) is curious about.

While on this topic, what are questions you shouldn't ask no matter what?

Obviously I know some such as asking about:
1. Booze - Not that I want to
2. Boys - As in Fraternities
3. Hazing - Not only is it rude to assume it is done, it's just not appropriate
4. Partying
5. Other sororities

But other things that you wouldn't normally thing of as bad, but might be in a recruitment setting.

I'm just trying to calm my growing nerves as Recruitment comes ever closer. Thanks everyone.

:]

Double posting, but we also have a HUGE sticky on what NOT to do or say. Yes, it's long, but it covers just about every no-no there is.
