A while back you posted the websites for these guys. Did we like either of those listed above? Ignoring the fact that nobody who responded to the other thread was an actual Omega. LOL

Personally, these candidates were 1 and 2 in terms of my preference scale. I was pleasantly surprised at the results in this race because there were so many viable candidates, including sitting Grand Officers. There was an ethical cloud hanging over the present administration and they weren't sullied by it as "outsiders," and it didn't hurt that they came from the two largest districts even though it had been stated that Bro. Ray had a split base, that is, he didn't have unanimous support from his district. But he received a standing ovation at the candidates forum at the district meeting in Bro. Holmes' district this Spring. Earlier, someone circulated an email that stated that Bro. Holmes dropped out of the race. He responded with a strong rebuttal, stating that this was the usual "dirty tricks" of a fraternal political campaign, which can be brutal.

With the appointment of The Rev. Dr. Christopher T. Curry as Grand Chaplain by Grand Basileus Andrew Ray, the slate of Grand officers is complete. Bro. Curry served as the 2nd District Chaplain. He is the Pastor of Ezion Fair Baptist Church in Wilmington, Delaware. He is a graduate of Lincoln Univ. (PA), and also holds a Master's degree from Cheyney Univ., a Ph.D. from Lasalle Univ., an M.Div. from Palmer Theological Seminary of Eastern Univ. and a D.Min from United Theological Seminary.
