Hugs and Kisses Blankets??
 

Hello all =]

I was just wondering how many other chapters make Hugs and Kisses blankets? In our chapter, every Big makes her Little a blanket and I just love mine! Its an easy, no sew fleece blanket that is very special to me.

Funny story: My Big Kate actually picked out this material for me even before we had done Big/Little matching. We had only talked on AIM and met once but she knew I would be her Little. (I knew she was going to be my Big too, even without either of us mentioning it)

While I'm here I might as well show you what it looks like because she worked hard on it and as I said before, I love it immensely!!

I'm not in phi sig, but I LOVE these blankets they are so cute.
They do seem like a good idea for big/little!

Also not in Phi Sig & I've never heard them referred to as "hugs and kisses" blankets before- but one of our new member classes did that for their bigs. We had a tradition of a full chapter sleepover the night before initiation, so the littles presented the blankets to their bigs at that time. It was very well received. Those, of course, were blue & blue- Kappa style :D

We dont this but for bigs and littles but some girls do it for Candlepass (our senior sendoff) its so cute that your chapter calls them "Hugs and Kisses Blankets"

Sorry to crash! But my big made me a blanket like that for initiation. It's pink on the underside and blue with pink owls on the top. It's super special to me and I still use it every night! They're super easy to make and SO WARM. Nothing like snuggling up to a double layer of fleece when it's cold out. :)

I'm not a Phi Sig either, but in my chapter, bigs do make those blankets for their littles, usually as an initiation gift.

Omg I love this idea. I'm bringing up at our meeting tomorrow.

Blankets are a great big/little tradition!!
