The gossip sites claim that Houston buys $6300 worth of cocaine a week.

Someone educate me. How often would she have to be using it? Is it more than one person would use? Would that much be considered "trafficking" if she was caught buying it?

6K a week in drugs is a lot, but imagine how much she spends on everything else! Does she really have it like that?

Depending on the quality of blow, she might be spending anywhere from 120-175$ or more for three and a half grams. Going price around here five or six years use to be 125$, but it had been stepped on pretty hard.

A really casual user (once a week or so) might have troubles doing three and a half grams in a single day.

So you can do the math on that one (and she might even be getting a deal since she does it so much, but I really don't know prices after three and a half.)

She was in rehab in 2005, and apparently nothing has changed. I've read that she was pretty broke four years ago (possibly why she did the reality show), and still having problems - hence why she's touring now.

One would have thought that she should have a lot saved/invested, but once she stopped earning millions a year (she once out-earned Madonna), she didn't seem to cut down living "the high life". Apparently she has "dozens of dependents" as well.

I know that many people will fuel their addiction(s) - alcohol, compulsive/designer shopping, drugs, cigarettes - before paying for necessities, so chances are, everything she earns goes up her nose before going anywhere else.

These are the same people who thought she was just a nice sheltered church girl when she first came out. Um, not so much.
