Greek as Grad Student?
I might have misunderstood but I typically thought you couldn't be Greek after your 4 year degree? A friend of mine that goes to a smaller private school graduated last Fall and this Spring repledged her sorority. It is a national sorority not a local. I don't know anyone besides her that has rejoined their sorority after graduation. Can she do this because her school is smaller or can anyone at even a large school repledge and join after being active for 4 years?

What do you mean "repledged"? Was she already a member and became active again? There is no such thing as "repledging" after you are initiated.
Whether a sorority 1) admits grad students as new members or 2) permits grad students to remain active members is DIFFERENT FOR EVERY SORORITY. It can also vary from chapter to chapter, although this is likely more a matter of tradition than anything in an individual chapter policy. |

She graduated with her bachelor's degree and this Spring when she started her master's degree she repledged and was reinitiated. This is why I asked because I was sure you couldn't do it. Yes, she did repledge and had a new big and was part of the Spring class. I guess there are no rules established by their National HQ that addresses what to do with grad students and I had never heard of girls being recognised as members in my school's grad programs, none from my chapter even tried to keep status even though they were still students.

And we all know which troll you are so you might as well give it up. |
I don't care if you don't believe me. It happened. I have seen her facebook album with the Spring class pictures and her new big which happens to be her 1st little. I didn't say it makes sense and I don't know how they did it and that is why I asked. I thought this wasn't allowed. In my understanding from her grad school is seperate from the undergraduate school so it is like she is a new student therefore she can be active again.

If you want to prove it happened tell us the school and organization. |
I don't see what you expect me to get out of being a "troll" or lying about something that creates no drama or anything. Whether you believe it is true has no iota of importance of the situation. Obviously I asked because I had never heard of this before and her sorority is a very well known national sorority so I don't think they can just make up rules for their chapter as they go.

If I tell you the organization and the chapter how does that help you? That information won't give you the name of the girl or any knowledge of her campus unless another poster from that chapter can verify it. If you intend to message the president to ask that is just stalkerish.

Because I don't think this person, this institution, or this chapter exists.
