Condolences to the Thetas
 

Yesterday morning two Thetas from the University of Richmond and a young man were in a fatal car accident on the Meadowbrook Parkway on Long Island on their way to work at Camp ANCHOR at Lido Beach. My condolences go out to the Thetas and the family of these young women (they were biological sisters).

The news shook the Catholic school community. The two young women went to Sacred Heart Academy, and the young man went to Chaminade for those of you familiar with the schools. The two other passengers were graduates of my high school, Kellenberg.

May they rest in God's peace.

Tragic and heartbreaking.

I can't imagine that their family (both biological and Theta) is feeling losing two at once. Peace and comfort to all.

I would like to offer my condolences as well to the families and friends of the victims, as well as to the many sisters of the two young women. True sympathy can never be put into words. My prayers and thoughts are with them.
