It has an interesting premise, but it's not like designing and making clothes where you can see where they went wrong technique wise. Art is so subjective, I can't really figure out how they're going to manage to judge it. Everyone will see different things ... so on that level it's confusing to me.
I'm hoping to remember to watch the damn show next time it's on lol.

I'm having the same problem I always have during critiques...separating the person from their art, because snobby artists can be the most obnoxious creatures on the face of the planet. Seriously. I haven't been blown away by most of the stuff I've seen, but then again if I were given thirteen hours to complete and assignment I have no idea if I would even come close to producing something worthwhile. When they're given specific assignments it's not too hard to point out specifics of where they went wrong (or went right), but art really is so subjective...I'm not convinced they'll get a second season of this.
Side note...I'm so in love with Miles!

I had Bravo for a few weeks so I caught it. It's interesting but I don't really see how it'll end up with the "best" artist. Maybe the most versatile or something

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. The most rigid artists went home first.
