Wanting to start a sorority UOPX

So, I'm wanting to start a sorority for UOPX, which is an online university. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to do that and where to start!

Thanks~! :D

You can't start a sorority for an online school.

Just think about that for a second. A sorority for an online school. So, you're probably not living in the same neighborhoods, cities, or vicinities of people who would "join". How will you get together for sisterhood events all of the time? Philanthropy events? I've seen this on the site a few times and have always thought that the people who want to start these things only want the letters, they don't want the other things that necessarily come with the letters.

Yes.

OP, you're not going to have much luck with that. First, online universities are designed for non-traditional students, which are not the demographic that sororities typically target, so many of our experiences, even those that founded a chapter or organization at a ground-based school, will not apply.

Second, we have heard of online sororities. The last one I saw anything about was a total clusterfuck. It was full of middle-aged ladies backbiting one another online.

Third, I hope you're not holding your breath on getting university recognition, because that will never happen.
