Serious questions - you just had a baby, you are getting married soon; when will you have time to be in a sorority? If you know nothing about sororities, how and why would you start one?

I was going to suggest the OP delete some info, but her username gives her away.

I think that people need to be aware that they are putting their whole lives "out there" when they might not mean to. Too many people use their real names , their "regular" online identities, even email addresses, and then go on to post things that they think won't be linked back to them.

True, but I think there's a fuzzy line where you warn people about that and where you google them and post hints that you know more about them. And when the person's done nothing more than ask a question no matter how poorly... like I said. Creepy.

i just googled my full name. there are a LOT of pages. i went to page two and i saw that myspace now has a directory WITH MY FULL NAME in it! wtf?! i promptly canceled that shit. been a long time coming anyway.

I google myself every so often. One time I found a page on Manta.com that said I owned a million-dollar company. It listed my home address as the company headquarters (I live in modest house in a suburban residential neighborhood). I contacted them and they said that they got my info from Dun & Bradstreet, to which I told them they were 100% wrong. I have no clue how that happened, but I was not happy about it.
