MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - Kansas State University officials say a housemother at a campus sorority has died of natural causes.

. . . the body of Rose Hillis was found in her apartment at the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority on Friday night.

Kerry Wefald, chairwoman of the sorority's house board, says Hillis died of natural causes. She had been a housemother at the sorority for eight years. . . .

Please excuse the crash, but I thought some GC Kappas would want to know. My condolences to her family, friends, and the Gamma Alpha chapter members whose lives she touched.

How sad for the ladies of Gamma Alpha, and right before Convention, too.

The house director for my undergrad chapter has been there almost 25 years now. She is a wealth of information and I hate to think of the day she leaves the chapter for good. She left for one year when I was a senior and it was Horrible!!
