Coming off of MAL status...
 

I know it's been a while since I've posted here and tons of things have gone on. My DH and I have finally bought our first home and are settling down. I've been on MAL status for some years now and called international to get back on the active list. Hopefully I'll receive some calls soon. I miss being with my sisters!

That's great news. I'm not in a land chapter, but I maintain active status through Online Kappa. I hope to find a land chapter someday. For now, OLK is a great way to stay connected.

Well as of right now I have yet to be contacted by a land chapter. This is very disappointing since the chapter list has listed 4 chapters in my town. *sigh* I'm thinking that being a part of an online chapter might be the better way for me to go. Any suggestions?

Is it possible that the land chapters haven't contacted you yet since most of them probably just started back up in September? Do the chapters in your area have websites that you can contact them through?

(I'm still new and only in an online chapter, so that's about all I can offer)
