The commander of American forces in the Middle East, General David Patraeus appeared to faint during a period of intense questioning on Tuesday. The General was asked a question by Senator John McCain when he suddenly went limp and slumped toward the microphones.

There was a joke about having to listen to John McCain made (,he made it himself), but mostly I just hope the guy's fine. Besides being dehydrated I wouldn't be surprised it if was rather warm there.

I'm sure it was rather warm and wearing a uniform never helps.

I always liked John McCain. :) He was cute in his young days and he talks exactly like one of my mentors.

WHAT he was saying to Patraeus may've been what made him faint--kind of like when Balloon Boy fainted during all of his family's interviews. Anything to distract from the issue at hand. :p

The initial reports on Yahoo! news was that he was choking!

I love the look  on McCain's face. It doesn't look like he was fainting, but what could he have been choking on?

McCain looked like he was about to jump up! Love him. :)

Prolly a jolly rancher, those things can be brutal.
