This has been a rough week for me being an Iowa State alumna. The trend looks more and more like a few current conferences will be expanding into "super" conferences, which has huge ramifications outside of athletics.

It's all about $$$$ and at some point the government will get involved due to anti-trust issues. It's not about the student athlete and hasn't been for at least a decade - at least not in the marquee sports.

All of the conference realignment stuff has been a roller coaster for Baylor. While the Colorado deal is very real, almost all of the other stuff floating around=rumors. From what it looks like, no one really knows how everything could turn out. It might take months for everything to be finalized. I don't know if I can stand months of this craziness.

I missed this before I wrote in another thread. There are so many rumors going around. I have constantly been on ESPN trying to figure out what is real or not.

It's funny for me that Colorado has joined since I went there for my freshman year. I guess they missed me so much that it had to follow.:p
