Grand Council is pleased to announce that Alpha Delta Pi has been selected to colonize at Loyola University Chicago in the near future!

After a competitive presentation process this spring, Chi Omega was invited to colonize at Loyola in the Fall of 2010. At the same time, Loyola’s Panhellenic invited Alpha Delta Pi to colonize the next time that the campus is ready for extension.

Wow, I didn't know they were going to pick one for now AND one for later. Glad to see they're changing their ridiculous tune about trying to limit the number of fraternities and sororities.

We didn't really know either until after the vote went through. I think the Panhellenic Council thought it was the best solution for the campus, and I think everyone would have to agree. It pretty much comes down to if Chi Omega's colony is successful in the coming year, LUC will open for expansion (again!) the next year (and Alpha Delta Pi will automatically be invited if we open for expansion).

It's a really big change for the campus, but everyone's really excited.

33girl, the reason for the change may very well be due to the new Greek Advisor. :)

How exciting

Just read online that we have been invited to colonize at James Madison University in approximately 2012. Phi Mu will be colonizing next fall and we are the next chapter to colonize when the school is open for expansion (hence the 2012).

LOL - I just posted this with the updated Chapter listing! My little's one daughter is going there next year - this could get interesting, since her twin's going to VA Tech!

When will they be going? Will she be going in time for our chapter at JMU opening?

They're seniors in high school, so they'll be going away this fall. So, yes, the one twin will be at JMU for the colonization - it's getting her interested in waiting two years first!

Both of them (and their younger sister) are amazing - beautiful, intelligent, cultured - all around outstanding young women. I don't want to give too much away (!), but I have offered each of them the pick of my pins, should they go ADPi! :D
