The recruitment registration form asks questions towards high school and it states that they will be checking grades

I don't think it will be a big deal. I doubt many of us have come across this often, considering that most people with GEDs don't continue on to college. The most important thing is your great college GPA. Good luck with recruitment!

If a PNM is already enrolled in college, does NPC/local PHC still ask for HS information? I thought they were only concerned with college info? /laneswerve |
If you have an established college GPA, that's what NPC chapters will look at.

Thanks for all the info, its a great help.

That's impressive that you continued on to college with your GED, so good on you for that!
One thing you did not mention, though, is your age. Are you traditional college age or older? Depending on your college, that may affect your recruitment. |
I'm 19 and a sophomore

I was homeschooled, never attended high school, and had been taking classes at my local community college for a while - during the ages I would have been in high school if I'd been traditionally schooled - before transferring to my current university. Filling out the "high school" section of the form was a pain! But as far as I can tell, it didn't affect anything- I had my 4.0 GPA from my community college (as you, collegechick_md, will have a college GPA from your freshman year), and any time it came up during recruitment conversations, being able to chat about homeschooling made me stand out from the crowd! :)
