Is this what kids with way too much money do for birthday parties?

Seriously, $41/child for a party favor? And not just that, but a designer party favor with puffy paint on it??? Ok, so I know this probably isn't a TON of money compared to what some spoiled rich kids actually do spend on their party favors (gift baskets, whatever)...but I'm still  about it.

Whoever thought of that one is insane. I realize some people spend inordinate amounts of money on things like this. What I keep thinking, as a parent, is "those shirts would never dry in time for kids to take them home".

Hmm..how much does it cost to rent a pony?

I'm just wondering why you'd want a polo shirt with a bunch of puffy paint on it?

I think it is just a marketing ploy by RL. They've just found a new way to make a dime in this down economy. RL knows that there are parents out there who would spend whatever to make their kids happy.

This!

Not to mention the fact that kids are not all one size. "Oh I'm sorry, even though Johnny is my darling child's best friend, he is not invited because he is not a boy's size 10." Silliness.

But really, how much "fun" is a Polo shirt?? Where would it be appropriate to wear a puffy-painted Polo shirt? In other words, Polos look cute on kids on occasions where a guy might wear a button down shirt. How would a puffy-painted Polo fit in? Would you "waste" a puffy-painted Polo on bedtime or outdoor/messy playtime?

^^^^^

You're thinking too much!!! RL does not want you (the parent) to realize what you've said (ree-Xi). ;)

I have worked in advertising so I often look at products quite literally. I'm betting these go on clearance sooner than later.

That IS the clearance price - I saw them in my Shop It To Me email - which is how this came up in the first place.
