TubeSock
Has anyone ever used it or know someone who used it? Does it work?
Uh.. do I even want to know what this is?
I thought maybe this was a new form of sock puppet :D .
You gotta tell us what that is.
Maybe she is talking about this program: http://stinkbot.com/Tubesock/ ?

Especially if it is something that is non-boring. |
....I would only Google that if she had given us a context, so I could Google within it.
google turns up lots of random crap, and sometimes the thread you are curious about, so it's quite frustrating.

Are you talking about the YouTube thing?
So was this product named what it was because of its urbandictionary definition? It seems appropriate.
I didn't explain what it is because I'm looking for someone who has used it and someone who has used it would not need to ask me what it is. ;)
Yes, it's a program that you download (for a $15 fee) and you can use it to download YT vids to your iPod. If your player doesn't have a video function (e.g., a regular mp3 player) you can convert the vids to mp3 format and use them as songs. I've only heard of it once from a random on the Net who said he had it (and that it was great) so I wanted to see if anyone here could attest to its merit. |
That's what I thought you were talking about. I've never used it but I do have a video converter that I use to put into iPod format. It doesn't do the Mp3 conversion thing though. At least I don't think it does. What you can do is just download a free video converter, download the YT vids you want and put them through the program. Should be the same thing.

Their trial allows you to test it out by downloading the first thirty seconds of videos, have you tried that?
