Soror Horne passed on May 8 at the age of 92.

Rest in peace to a dynamic entertainer and activist.

I just heard. A legend of all times. My deepest sympathies to her family, her Delta Sorors, friends and many, many admirers.

If you believe in Heaven, then she has joined her good soror friend Jeanne Noble to watch over our sorority and to make sure we persist in highlighting the arts and letters in our community.

R.I.P to a true trailblazer.

Aside from being beautiful and talented, she also fought for our civil rights and I thank her for all that she accomplished. RIP Lena Horne.
