Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity heritage (Help?)

I am a member of the Epsilon Xi chapter and I was appointed to be Fraternity Heritage this past spring. Unfortunatly I do not have a binder or guidelines as they were damaged a few years back. We are currently working on gaining a new one. I was wondering if anyone has been or is in the position of Fraternity Heritage and could kind of describe to me the position. (I have read the description in both the Bonds of Sisterhood and the 100 year history book, but I am hoping for something more indebth.) Thank you.

I recommend looking for old Quill magazines or search for articles on google to find out information about the history of the chapter. Also look for old chapter scrapbooks. We used to find interesting social ideas from stuff the did years earlier but lost with time. Also an option, use fraternity heritage to learn about Greeks on your campus and their history. There is a good book called Sisterhood: Bound by a Mighty Vow (or something like that). It's a GREAT book! We aren't in it, but you learn alot about why sororities exist and are what they are today.

Here are some random facts I found out on my own when I was FH Chair:

-Jon Benet Ramsey's mother was an Alpha Xi Delta

-The Sigma Chapter at the University of Iowa was founded 3 days after the Titanic sank

(I know, both facts are kind of depressing, but interesting)
