Leadershape 2010
 

I don't think anyone has posted about this yet. Is anyone else attending the Leadershape Institute in a few weeks? I believe it is hosted by ATO, AGD, and DG. I would love someone who is going!

Would you love to know someone else who is going, or are you propositioning us? :p

Anyway, LeaderShape was founded by ATO in the 80s to train their membership, but they turned the program over to an outside organization that runs LeaderShape Institutes all over the country. I thought LeaderShape was grouped by university, but maybe that's just what we do. You probably already know someone going - did you have any orientation session?

I was supposed to go, but summer classes got in the way :(

Sorry! I was typing too fast apparently. :) No, we didn't have an orientation session and I'm not sure how it all works. I just applied for a scholarship and AGD told me I was going. Just curious if anyone else has ever attended or if they are planning on it! Thanks for the information!

So does AGD have an institute just for AGD members? At my university its an institute for our students. Interesting.

I was offered an AGD scholarship to go also; when I looked at the website, some school's have big enough systems to support having their own week. Other organizations/chapters send people to the week's in Alabama and Illinois.

I don't think they advertise the Institute enough at IU for us to have a whole week for just IU because most people go to UIFI(I think that's the one in Illinois and Alabama).

Glad to know someone else who's going ColdInCanada11! Will you be going to Camp Tecumseh in Indiana?

She's not going, but would you mind sharing about the experience when you get back?

Yeah, unfortunately I need to finish up my minor, but I would like to hear how it goes too!!! I hope that you have an awesome time!!

Sorry I guess I missed that part...out of school for a week and my brain is already losing it! Well best of luck with summer school fun and I will let you all know how it goes!
