Is Anyone Seeing Any Good Shows?
 

Thought I would ask if anyone has seen or will be seeing any good concerts or shows this Summer?

My Morning Jacket - huge crowd of 6500+ - was a surprise to the venue - good band

The Rock an Roll HOF Show last weekend - crowd was small but it was a good show

Cheap Trick = Fair (definitely a let down)
Dave Mason = Great
Alan White Band = Good/fair
Atlanta Rhythm Section = Great
GA Satellite = Fair/good

Going to see:
Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers
America and Ambrosia
Asia
Little Shop of Horrors

I know: A lot of '70's/'80's bands - I am still stuck in a time warp.

Actually seeing Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers this summer myself. Can't wait.

I'm supposed to be seeing Erykah Badu and Maxwell/Jill Scott this summer. The concerts are about 5 days apart, so it oughtta be fun. :)

They were supposed to be here today and postponed until the 18th of Sept. Bummer. Saw them in '06 and as I wasn't a big fan at the time I must say that the sound and performance was one of the best I have ever seen. This is a don't miss show. They are appearing with CSN at some dates. It will be interesting to see who opens for them here now as Joe Cocker was supposed to be the opener and it is up in the air.

^^^KS: I knew you were going to see some shows. You have a great depth of music knowledge.

Yeah the show I have tickets for is late July at MSG. They are supposed to have Buddy Guy as a special guest, so it should be interesting.

Impromptu Common performance last night. He did a freestyle and a couple of other songs. This is the second time that I have seen him, and I like the way that he performs.

May 17 - Michael Bolton

June 11-Pitbull

We are going to see Spyro Gyra soon. Never seen them perform, but my dad used to play them all the time when I was a kid. I liked their music so I am looking forward to it.
