Social Resume question

I tried editing my other post, but I couldn't change the title.

I ran a search on this, but I didn't really find anything. Apologies if I'm asking a repeat question (as I found out that I definitely did earlier)!

On the social resume, if I received my GED instead of attending HS, how should this be entered?

I was homeschooled and then got my GED (high scores), went to a CC and then transferred to my now college. I don't feel that have the GED will count against me so much because I do have strong scores from CC as well as this semester at my college. However, I am confused about what I should put on the social resume?

Would it just be GED - (insert score here?)

Thank you in advance!

I doubt anyone will have an answer to this. Fill it in the best you know how and put a brief explanation. Not that many people with a GED go on to join sororities, so I bet most people haven't seen this on an app before. It sounds fine to me, but you would definitely want the explanation included so no one jumps to the wrong conclusion (hey...my husband doesn't even have a GED because he was too young to sit for it when his college asked him to do it! )

Yes, I know it's not that common of a question. :) Thank you for offering an answer.

I was wondering if I actually need to list it because I did go to the CC for two years, and I've been at this college for a semester. But I don't want to look like I'm hiding anything at all.

I guess I'll just put HS: Homeschooled; GED - the year, maybe the ranking?

Sounds good to me! Good luck!

I think under "High School" I'd just put "home schooled thru XYZ school 200?-200?"

In other words, just list the school whose curriculum was used (the sanctioning school) and dates and leave it at that. Then just list "College" with the CC and your GPA there.
