Recognition/Awards for Committee Members (special event, gala, etc)
To be as specific as possible, I need ideas on the type of gifts or recognition for members of an anniversary committee for a chapter.
Our 55th Anniversary will be next year and I am trying to budget what will be appropriate to give my committee members. An award/certificate of recognition seems sooooorta lame, but might look cute in a dollar store frame? It will be a mixture of men and women. |

Please note that these all have the organization/institution's logo or insignia in a discreet way. These aren't Bic pens--the pen I got is a Cross pen that's pretty lovely. I think most of the stuff is about $20-25 each. One of the organizations I volunteered with was German-affiliated and they gave out Mercedes-Benz stuff as thank-you gifts to volunteers. That was sweet. :) |
I love pens. Pens are my fave thing to get for any sort of committee/recognition/etc. gift.
Not a fan of certificates. Highly involved people get a lot of those and after awhile, you run out of room for them (even if they're really nice.) I think I might take Munchkin's folder idea. My apt. runneth over with framed certificates and I'm running out of space. |
I wish this hadn't been bumped. I ain't get my committee shit. LOL
