Rushing as a junior? (UConn)

Hey!

I go to UConn and I'm currently a sophomore right now. I've always been thinking about rushing, but I was also planning on transferring to a different school. I ended up staying at UConn and I still want to rush, but I feel like I'm too old now. Do you guys think it would be too late for me as a junior? If there's anyone that is in a UConn sorority or an alumni that could give me some advice that'd be awesome! Thanks! :)

I found this thread about upperclassmen at UConn, maybe it will help.

Can you talk to someone in Greek Life, or perhaps girls (from sororities) in your classes? They probably would be more than happy to give you the basics (though no one can give you specifics on your chances).

I have friends that went Greek at UConn but that was quite a while ago.

I just read from other forums asking similar questions that depending on the school, they just automatically cut upperclassmen and if that is so with UConn then I probably shouldn't rush next semester. I really want to, but if it's just too late then I'll just have to deal with it. I know there's a lot of other ways to get involved although I would love to be a part of greek life.

Ask the Greek Life office if they have stats on the last few years. They might have the breakdown by year. But again, there are a thousand variables at play.
