Chapter Housewarming Shower - Poem?

My chapter is moving into a new house this Fall, and there's a housewarming shower in a couple of weeks. I'm planning on buying basic kitchen/bath necessities, such as bulk toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, trash bags, etc etc. One of the other alumna showed me a bridal shower poem (below) that you could use, but it doesnt quite incorporate all of these elements. I will probably modify it a little if I can't find something a little more appropriate, but I wanted to check to see if any of you had ever done, or heard of something similar to this before I had do? Thanks!

Dear BRIDE,

We gather together with you to celebrate the (dawn) of a new (era). Marriage is a journey. Some days it will be pure (joy) but let's take a moment and talk about the others.

There may come a time when you realize your big (brawny) guy isn't necessarily (Mr. Clean). When this and other little glitches occur, don't (shout) or send up an (SOS). Go (easy-on) him. Hopefully the (Tide) will change quickly, tensions will (vanish), and things will (bounce) back to normal.

We think you and GROOM are a (fantastic) couple with a (zest) for life and a sincere appreciation for each other. We fully support you as you and GROOM'S (pledge) to spend your lives as one.

We wish you all the best... Including love, happiness and lots of time to (snuggle).

Love,
The Bridal Party

ha ha!! at first i thought you were planning on typing the poem in a pretty font and framing it and i wondered WTH? then i reread it and realized that the poem was to go along with your gift basket of household goods. i believe i remember someone doing something similar at a friends shower, many years ago.
