2-5....
INCHES OF SNOW BY TONITE!
It has been in the high 70's here and we have snow today... (typical Clarion weather, my freshman year, it was 80 the one day and snowed 6 inches the next, Im not kidding!) grrr... our last football game is this weekend, and I am in the colorgaurd and well... thats rough for us! I wish I was smart and went to a nice sunny warm school, but no... I chose good ole CU in the snow belt! Things could be wores, at Edinboro, 2 snowbelts meet... they seriously get a foot at a time! |
geesh, that's alot of snow!
I don't miss snow. It was a bit chilly here in South GA this morning, but I'm talking about in the 60's. :D I spent my freshman year up in Cleveland, OH...boy was that cold! snow drifts that are thigh high aren't my idea of fun...a few sprinkles of snow once or twice a year is pretty ideal for me. |
Yeah - well, welcome to Wisconsin:
*36 inches of snow in last December, alone. *-60 degree wind chills. (yes, thats below zero!) *Between Nov. and April, the average temp is below 50 degrees. *Theres enough salt on our roads in the month of January for all the french fries in America........ for a decade. I don't want to hear about 6 inches of snow in one day. We get that all winter long. ha ha. (Can you tell I am not looking forward to winter?) But we do have something most people do not, ask yourself this question: When was the last time I drove 10 minutes to go ice fishing? Then ask yourself: Why the hell would I want to go ice fishing???? .........I don't know either. :( |
Back in '97, Boston got 3 feet of snow on April Fools' Day. 2 days later it was over 70 degrees.
My school actually shut down for the day... and my school NEVER shuts down. It was the first time since the Blizzard of '78 that it closed during a semester, and it only closed then because the city government ordered it to. I was snowed in at my then-fiance's apartment... that was a fun day ;) |
