specific lor question!

i know you ladies hate questions that have already been answered a million times, but i really can't find the answer to this one! (even though it's probably there somewhere :().

Anyways, I'm transferring somewhere (dunno where yet) next fall, and wherever I go I plan to rush. I know tons of girls in sororities on my current campus, so my question is are they allowed to write recs for me? (they will not be graduating, they're actually almost all my year)

Thanks!

Some sororities allow current collegians to write recs for rushees at other campuses. Some do not. It varies by sorority. Your friends would each need to check with their specific sorority's national policies.

and even if they aren't allowed to write recs .. they certainly could put you in touch with alumnae who can.

Not everyone calls them recommendations so I would suggest not assuming that....some use "sponsor form"......

Don't hate on another primate!

If the first thing you saw when you woke up this morning was this thread, refreshed, I'm concerned for you.

Maybe they're worried that other PNMs will be intimidates by their hotness?

I'll bite. I saw it and wanted it to be a question about allusions to Greek mythology in Tolkien novels. Which would make it LOTR, but still..

I guess I spent too much time on law school admissions boards last year, because it never occurred to me that LOR wasn't completely obvious!

Everything I know about Tolkien and LOTR comes from listening to Led Zeppelin and some school Hobbit reading in my single digit years.
