The Golden Years and Sex

How do you feel about old people "Getting It"?

How long do you think after gran'mom or gran'pop dies should the spouse wait to get their swerve on?

Should they use condoms?

Prettyface08 03-19-2010 02:29 PM

LOL!!! *ok, all goofiness aside* I think they should. I know I would be 'getting it' if I were old. I wish my grandma would 'get it'. I definitely think that they should use condom though because V.D. is still V.D.

I'm apathetic towards it until I'm the old person who is "gettin it!" :D If it isn't wrinkled shut or swiveled inoperable (and/or stinky as heck) then "get it!!!" This is especially the case for couples who remember how it was before they grew old together.

For casual sex, yes, because elderly homes/retirement communities have been reporting a rise in sexually transmitted diseases and other sexual conditions over the years.

None of these diseases have an age limit.

I am mad you said, "VD" hehehehhe.

It's as archaic as "Negro..." like in that 'other' thread.

The term is STD :D

Oh yeah I forgot the other question...yeah....uuuhhh... should old people be allowed to breed?

someone told me to say it.

LOL, I know! I was thinking about that episode of Good Times (the girl thought J.J. gave her V.D.) when I said it.

Ha! Wasn't there a thread about archaic language? Why was there a change from VD to STD?

I'm offended by "other!" Either de-objectify that thread and state what it is specifically or don't reference it at all. :p

The bold made me weak! LOL

Oh and to answer the question of breeding...No, I don't think so. It isn't fair to the child if they have them too late in life. They won't be around that much longer. But, I guess it depends on how old the parents are at the time of conception.

all i can think of when i read the thread title is the scene from Chappelle's Show w/ the principal and teacher having sex. :(

You know what i meant when I said "other".

I didn't want to insult that "negro" thread or the "negroes" involved in that "other" thread.

Sidenote: When I go to do spell check, the word "Negro" is a proper noun...so...let me rephrase by saying I didn't want to insult the proper Negroes on that 'other' thread.

I say go for it. The biggest problem in my grand-M-I-L's nursing home is the ratio of men to women. Too many women, not enough men.

In fact the nursing home even encouraged the family to buy great-grandma a vibrator because she was using other items to satisfy herself and they were afraid she would injure herself. My father-in-law was mortified at the thought, but did have my brother-in-law go buy one for her. :)

 @ stop defending your use of "other!" LOL

Proper Negroes for a proper noun. See, we have Black History Month and proper nouns. What a mighty force we are, indeed.

This is actually why, with the advent of Viagra, etc., sexually transmitted diseases, even HIV, has spread like wild fire through nursing homes! These horny old men just spread it around their ready made harem.
