Need some tri-Delt help
 

So here's the situation....

Met this girl via the internet, we talked over e-mail & chat for a couple of weeks. Then last weekend we decided to meet and go out for lunch. We had a really great time and then spent most of the weekend together. And we're going out again this weekend. She's a tri-delt and the house manager. Her sisters have been giving her a lot of crap for an "internet boyfriend".

Here's where I need some help...
Since her sisters are giving her a hard time(hooking up with a guy over the internet) I want to do something that will really make them jealous of her hehe. I've already sent her some flowers and that helped http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif But I was thinking maybe of doing something somehow related to the tri-delts? Maybe someting I could do/make with one there symbols like the dolphin or pine tree? I'm not in a frat so I don't know too much about the greek life. So I was hoping that somebody out there might have some ideas?

I saw a dolphin beany baby with the Delta Delta Delta letters which would be a very nice gesture. It's funny because one of my good freinds met a TKE over the internet.

Thanks for the idea about the beenie baby. I'll look around and see if I can find one. I was thinking of maybe something along those lines (buying something like that). But I doubt I'll find it. We're in WY and our bookstore is usually rather lacking. Maybe I can find it online?

As for usually taking longer to screen someone(I almost always do), but as I said we're in Wyoming and you majority of the time you can trust people.

sing to her at night! Preferably with a full moon. Go to under her window. Timing is very important. Make sure it is late enough were she'd be in her room, but not too late, cuz then she will like "huhhh?" and all cranky.

I agree with LiL_G. The dolphin beanie baby sounds like a great idea. I have a close friend thats a TriDelt and I think that your doing just fine. Thats great you sent her Roses. I think what matters most is what you two think. I guess the key is patience, and flexibility, and being supportive. I have gotten flack from my brothers about the idea of meeting someone online. Basically just that I dont need it and you never know about people you meet on line. But then there are others you see all the time that meet their mate online too. I guess its just another resource where you may not run into someone in another avenue. It sounds like your off to a great start. Especially since you guys have already been out. I myself probably wouldnt meet someone after that short of amount of time(a good screening process) but then you never know. I'm pretty open minded myself about things. Just cautious.
