What do membership fees cover?
 

Hello everyone :)

I am a prospective member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and I would like to know if any of you could let me know what the $1000 membership fee covers (paraphernalia or just fees)? Also, is it possible for us to pay like $500 one month and $500 the next or do we have to pay it all at once? I really want to gather all of the money I need before the process begins at my school so please let me know if you can. Thank you in advance :)

If you already know that the amount is $1,000, then gather that amount. You will be told what it covers at the approrpiate place and time. This is not that place, or time.
