Brothers of Omega Psi Phi:

On this Omega Psi Phi Memorial Day of 2010, let us pray for our dearly departed Brothers. May God's peace and blessing rest upon all Omega Men who have entered Omega Chapter.

And let us attend our chapter and District Memorial Services during this season!

"Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Because I serve in the Altar at Church on Sunday's,I won't be able to attend the upcoming Corridor Memorial Service in my District. Thursday night, Brothers of my present grad chapter gathered at the home of one of our Brothers who died this past Monday after an extended sickness in a local nursing home. We went there to support his wife, an initiate of Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta and founder/former President of the local Alumnae chapter. We prayed, ate fish (not chicken!), drank Heinekens, shared stories of pledging, reminisced about our departed Brother, and generally had a good time.

Sorry to hear of your loss...you all have my deepest sympathy and condolences.

I'm just getting in from our memorial program...it was pretty cool....well attended.
