UIFI 2010
 

Hi everyone! Is anyone going to UIFI this year? I was lucky enough to get the eve woods riley scholarship to go for Tri Delta.

I can't wait!

That's wonderful! :) I meant to apply but missed the deadline because I was just so busy with classes and everything. The program looks like so much fun!

Got my confirmation email today. I'm going June 5-9th. Anyone else on here attending?

Congratulations on receiving Delta Delta Delta's scholarship! I won Tri Sigma's scholarship to attend, too. :) I know I say this every year: UIFI is one of the best experiences I had in Greek Life as an undergraduate. It is a GREAT session for students who are looking to expand their leadership experiences and their thought process concerning membership in a Greek letter organization.

It can be very intense, and you may talk about some heavy subjects, but it's all presented in a really interesting way. You will connect to what your leads and small group facilitators are saying. Another perk of attending UIFI is meeting other students from across the country that are also interested in making an impact on their community, whether it's large or small, traditional or commuter, etc.

I attended in '07 and interned in '08, and it was really awesome both times. I still talk to some of the students that I met both summers! Have fun and good luck! PM me if you have any more questions. :)

I like that the UIFI does not focus on the "nuts and bolts" of being a good leader, but will undertake a broader approach to leadership. The have said that a week at UIFI will allow participants to facilitate change in their chapters and in their Greek Systems.

congratulations! i was able to go to UIFI in July 2008, and it was one of the most amazing experiences i have been able to participate in. have a great time!

Hey Jennifer!

I attended UIFI on a scholarship from Tri Delta last summer. It was really intense, be prepared to examine your chapter very thoroughly. My advice is to SPEAK UP! In your individual chapters and during big group sessions. I know sometimes it feels like your personal chapter members don't always care what's going on in your chapter, but at UIFI you will be surrounded by men and woman who do, take advantage of that! You will get tons of new ideas from your peers.. write lots of things down so you remember them! If you want any other info you know how to find me on fbook :) Have a great day!

I got my school's Panhellenic Scholarship to go to UIFI 2010. I'm going to the second session from May 19th-23rd!

I just got my school's Panhellenic Scholarship, I'll be going to session 10, July 28-Aug 1. Anyone else going then? it seems like everyone's talking about the May sessions. :)

What exactly is UIFI. I have heard of it before, but have no idea what it is.

I got a scholarship from my school's Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life and from National KD, and I'm really excited to go...but a little nervous, too!
