Are you looking for reputations? Because you won't find that here...which you should know if you've been "reading for a long time".

I'm not looking for reputations, I just wanted to know what was your "favorite" part of your sorority or what you liked about them... sorry if i offended anyone

People join GLOs for different reasons, so what's appealing to one person may be irrelevant to another person.

Like AOEforme said, you need to keep an open mind when going through recruitment and form your own opinions.

Ok so when going through recruitment you will meet the women in the different chapters...you then will go through a mutual selection process and based on how well you fit with a particular chapter you may recieve a bid. My personal favorite part of my sorority in general is the sisterhood I found there. There is always something going on and someone to help you out. Best of Luck and keep an open mind;)

They are all fantastic sororities, not just the Farmville Four. Everyone has given you great advice- keep an open mind. They are all great groups.

Realize that you are lucky to be joining a system that was the birthplace to FOUR of our NPC organizations. That is a wonderful tradition! The other groups on campus must be wonderful, too, to hold their own against the Alpha Chapters of these great groups!

Then why list them all?

One of my favorite threads on GC.

To the OP- everyone finds things to love about all the organizations. They all have wonderful sisterhoods both in college and in the alumnae ranks. All have wonderful creeds/mottos/symphonies/etc as well as honorable philanthropies. Read through the link above. Good stuff.

While there are many universal elements to all NPC organizations one thing to recognize is that all groups are going to vary from campus to campus in terms of the active members. Therefore, to find the fit for you, you will simply have to go through recruitment, meet the women, and form your own opinion. Recognize that the sorority women are also looking for members that are good fits for their organization. In the same way that you will be narrowing down the number of chapters that you visit each day, the sororities will be narrowing down the number of women that they invite back for each round.

Best of luck!

Only 3 of the Farmville Four are active right now. We are hoping to recolonize soon. :(

OP: Go into recruitment with an open mind and pledge where it feels like home.

I know, and I hope with you that it's a deficit that will be fixed some day soon! AOII's Alpha Chapter can never return so I can only hope for other groups to all get their's back. (Go AGD on their bid to return to Syracuse!)
