Was Kathryn Stockett Greek at UA

After reading "The Help", I wondered if anyone knew if the author was in a sorority while at the University of Alabama?

Yes. I am proud to say she is a Phi Mu from the Alpha Zeta chapter at the University of Alabama. Was it a good book? I have yet to read it, but would love to do that this summer.

One of the best I've read in a long time.

She was featured in our national magazine "The Aglaia" several months ago. I've been meaning to check it out.

ETA: I'm number 143 in the list for the audio book in my county library. There are 49 holdable copies. The e-audio book has 6 ppl on hold too. I am number 498 with 274 holdable copies for the actual book. For the large print: #388 w/ 38 holdable copies.
(FYI-I'm courteous. I canceled all of these holds except the audio book).

There is a purple quatrefoil-esque shape on the cover for the audio.

Thanks for the answer - after reading the book I felt like she must have been in a sorority - she did a great job with this book - hope she will write many more.
