Celebrate National Women's History Month
In 1981, the U.S. Congress passed a resolution establishing National Women's History Week. The week was chosen to coincide with International Women's Day, March 8. In 1987, Congress expanded the week to a month. Every year since, Congress passes a resolution for Women's History Month in March. The Library of Congress (LOC) also provides a website for Women's History Month.

I guess I should've resurrected an old Black History Month thread since it is during the shortest month and we've quickly moved on to Women's History Month.
Thankfully, many of us know the correlation between Black history and women's history and don't wait for designated celebrations to push for equality and be active and informed. |
