Formal Theme Help
 

Hey, I'm planning my sorority's formal date party and me and the other social chair are having trouble finding a theme.
we were wanting to use colors like emerald green and sapphire blue and plum purple and burgundy, but we can't think of any good themes to go with it,
do any of you have any good ideas for themes we could do?

To make things easier on yourselves, why don't you choose a theme and then choose colors?

The ones you have chosen are completely random and I can't think of anything that would "compliment" all of those colors together.

Sorry if this is a crazy question, but does there HAVE to be a theme? You have colors you like, so just decorate it according to that.

Actually, there is a theme that goes with all those colors. The theme is "Colors that 33girl should buy more clothing in." I need to step away from the red, peach and coral. :)

But seriously, just have your theme be Oh What A Night or some other song and use those colors.

I think this would make for a lovely theme! And when they ask who 33girl is, she can just say she's her internet friend. That'll go over REALLY well

Those are jewel tones... so think of something to do jewels or treasure. Just a thought. :)
