After College?

Thank you. Should I just forget about it for now and try to have fun with everything?
Grades up. Extracurriculars. Meet as many people as I can. How do I try to meet girls without seeming creepy? You know, naturally?

If you're still in college and you want a COLLEGIATE rush experience, try rushing again.

It is possible to join some NPC groups as an alumna, but there aren't any mixers, Greek weeks, formals, weekly meetings or just hanging out at the house. Not to say that it isn't a fulfilling experience, but it is a VERY different experience. Also, don't assume that you can join XYZ after college and be automatically accepted with open arms by the chapter of XYZ that cut you in rush to begin with.

Seriously - get to know more people, get your grades up, participate in extracurriculars that you care about and try rushing again. Or else find other things that make college rewarding for you. But don't look at alumna initiation as a way to "fix it."

Honestly, it sounds like you are too desperate to get into a sorority. If you want any chance on being in a sorority:

1. Get recs. Don't get 10 recs for the same sorority, that's just ridiculous and makes you look desperate even more. All you really need is 1.

2. Focus on school and get/maintain a high GPA.

3. Join other clubs or organizations to show that you are involved.

4. Meet more sorority women by going to events that are open for anyone.

5. Keep your options open to all sororities. Not just certain ones that you like.

The chance of you getting into a sorority as an alumna is slim to none. I highly suggest you go through formal recruitment again.
