D PHI E RECRUITMENT SUGGESTIONS
 

Hello Everyone,

I am in Delta Phi Epsilon's, Phi Pi chapter and next year I will be VPR. I'm trying to plan out bid day shirts and spring rush shirts and themes but it seems as if majority of the themes I find interesting have already been done.

This past year for fall recruitment we had two shirts: one that said, "sisters are permanent" and was a tattoo theme and another said "why gamble with the rest when you can bid with the best" and was a Las Vagas theme.

For spring recruitment we did "I get by with a little help from my friends" and it was a Hippy theme. I am looking for ideas that will help make us standout during rush and open bid and any suggestions would be helpful. :)

As someone who was there: Hippy means that you are getting fat. Hippie means love beads, peace signs, and tie dyes.

Now I will lean on my cane and flounce out of the room.

ha ha, this reminds me of that poem that was in Dear Abby. "Remember when hippie meant big in the hips?" I've honestly seen it spelled both ways.

Hey I tend to think darker color shirts look better. Maybe a deep purple or black? Also, I really like the V-necks instead of the standard t-shirts. You guys could do something cute like a Ralph Lauren but instead of the horseman a unicorn. Or write Delta Phi Epsilon down the side (but still in front) in gold or something. Just some ideas :)
