Dorothy Shaw Leadership Award

Hello!

Quick question. I was wondering if anyone would be able to let me know where and how I can access the application for the Dorothy Shaw Leadership Award? And if for whatever reason there is no application, if someone could let me know what the process of nomination for that would be, I would greatly appreciate it. I am looking through Pride Online but I can only find past recipients' names when I search for this. I will continue to look online as well as speak with my chapter advisors for more information, but if anyone here could help me out, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks so much!

Hi,

You can find the application and instructions on Pride Online- go to Chapter Resources, Chapter Forms, then Award forms. Best of luck to you!

Definitely good luck! Does your chapter still have to sponser you? I ask because my chapter sponsered me, but neglected to tell me that I had to have at least one alumna sign off on it. So, I was just a runner up. :(

Chapters do not need to sponsor an applicant anymore. It used to be that each chapter was allowed 1 (or was it 2?) applicants, but then Inatl realized that a chapter might have more amazing women than that. So now there is no limit and any senior can apply. They do not need to be sponsored/selected by the chapter, but they do need a letter of recommendation by an advisor and the CPD.
