DJ Scrilla's Greek Rap

I really wish he had one for Sigma Delta Tau, but you might be able to find your GLO among these rap songs. They're GOOD too:

The downloads on that page don't work but here are some examples from YouTube:

Alpha Phi:

Mississippi State Kappa Delta:

Alpha Omicron Pi:

it downloads, but when I click on it, it shows a bunch of weird code.

DJ Scrilla sucks.

and this has been posted like thirty times on here, I'm pretty sure.

DJ Scrilla has got to be pretty middle-aged by now.

He's 27.

The sorority raps used to be super cool. If I had a dime for every sorority chapter website that used their Scrilla song on the intro to their homepage, I'd be rich.

which fraternity was he in? (if any?_

SigEp (at Kent).

He wrote THREE new ones for ZTA and performed two of them at convention - so cool to see him live!!

ThetaPrincess24 07-14-2010 01:11 PM

He did one for Theta. My chapter actually used it as part of their routine for AOII Lip Sync in 2003.

TriDLove 08-05-2010 11:49 PM

Honestly, I think all of them are pretty awful.

Thanks. Homeboy. :)

He did one for ASA too - it was all over our convention stuff. I'm kind of meh on it, but obviously I'm not the target market. We got all excited back in the day when they said "Alpha Sigs" on Fraternity Record, although I don't know if Luke was referring to us. ;) (And by "don't know" I mean "would be really shocked if he even knew ASA existed.")

Warning: 2Live Crew post contains cuss words

I think you're talking about 3:19 (the link is below) in the "ain't shit" segment. He says it after "Sigma Chi" but it sounds more like he's saying "Kappa Sig." LOL. There's nothing complimentary about that song. They're mocking GLOs and mocking rock songs. It's a fraternity and sorority beef song that starts with "fuck the XYZ" and ends with "XYZ ain't shit." He says "I'm gonna say the name of the sorority, frorority, fraternity, or whatever the fuck they are."

LOL. Fuck 2Live Crew but I still love me some 2Live Crew and Uncle Luke. Hell yeah. :)

We knew it wasn't a compliment. We were just happy to be mentioned, after the card store in town only had fancy schmancy pin boxes for a few of the sororities and we weren't one of them because we weren't a "New York sorority" (their words, not mine). This is something the majority of NPHC members will not understand.

Oh, and any song where you get to say the F word over and over is always fun when you've had a few. :p

And please answer this one - what on earth is he saying between 1:55 and 2:05? This has been bugging me since this song came out. Although I definitely think he's saying Alpha Sig.

I kept listening trying to figure out what he's saying.

I think he's saying PhiGam or PIKA. It's the closest I could think of. LOL.

I still think he's saying Kappa Sig and not Alpha Sig. :p
