Undercover Boss

Is anyone watching?

The first episode (featuring Waste Management) was pretty awesome.

This week, not so much. I didn't feel like the CEO really did anything (policy changes, etc) because of the experiences he had besides the whole PR thing. I am pretty appalled that he didn't fire that Hooters mgr. from Arlington. That was just disgusting behavior and wouldn't have been tolerated at any other company.

Well Hooters is franchised, so can he even do that. Fire the guy that is.

Andy and I were pretty appalled he didn't break cover to stop the "reindeer games". It makes us wonder if the show is staged.

Yea... at the same time though I don't think it's staged b/c that Jimbo dude looked like he was about to DIE when the other guy said who he really was at the end.

At least to me that looked like a genuine 'ooooooooooh shiiiiiiizzzzz' moment... :p:eek:

Then Jimbo got all "well I'm just really competitive!" uhhh no, you're a prick!

I totally agree! I think that Jimbo guy is the epitome of the stereotypical male chauvinist, redneck, pig! What a jerk. "Hey, can I call you Scooter?" "Don't spend so much time talking to the babies, dude" I have to believe that it is almost a slap in the face to the employees of that store that he wasn't fired.

I think this is a good show. I liked the Waste Management giu a lot but think the Hooters guy clearly has some father/family issues that are unresolved. Maybe this was a lightbulb event for him and the future of the company, but it did seem to be more about his story and less about what he learned and was able to implement in the company.
