"Monopoly: Revolution Edition" is slick and round instead of dull and square, with debit cards and an ATM instead of paper money and a banker, clear plastic representations of the classic tokens (bye-bye, little boot!), and clips of popular songs (like Rihanna’s "Umbrella," Daniel Powter’s "Bad Day," and Beyonce's "Crazy in Love") that play after certain actions. read the rest.. |
If this makes the game any less boring....i'd take it.
I mean, Monopoly is like the Game of Life (at least for my fam)---they are fun to play for a little while, but then it gets to the point where you either stop cause you're so bored, or you just want to finish and get it over with. |
I loved Life when I was younger. I bought it a couple of years ago and I've played it once.
Monopoly, on the other hand, is fun for me :) |

@ the topics....hells no...that looks ugly. |
I love Monopoly and Life!
It's less of a journey going around the circle, though! :P Also, I'd rather handle money... actually work my brain just a tad. I think I'd go bankrupt instantly with the credit card. |
I have always loved Monopoly but there is no chance I would buy this version.
1) No money? That takes a lot of the monopoly-esque feel out of it for me. 2) I have NOOOO desire to hear Rhianna, Beyonce, or even Daniel Powter when I land on certain spaces. That little novelty will wear out REAL fast. |
