Miss Kansas is a Kappa Kappa Gamma from Kansas State according to the Kappa twitter feed.

She's a Delta Gamma. I googled and found this:

I believe that her mother was a Kappa and that Miss Kansas is not actually a member of a GLO.

I found her mom on the database, but not the daughter.

There's a Wichita Alumnae Association newsletter on the web that says something to the affect of "Former Wichita Alumnae Association President's daughter was crowned Miss Kansas." It never mentions the daughter being affiliated, so I seriously doubt she is. Plus, like you said, she's not in the directory.

I think the tweet just got misconstrued.
