Just found out some info from Heather Estes about the website. She says that the search base will be up hopefully within a few week (early Nov.)

Search base--? What does the base have in it? Is it a sisters base?

And when are they going to put up the members only portion of the site?!

I think the search base and the members only site is the same thing. At least, I hope it is!:D
BTW, I finally got my Quarterly today! Can't wait to have some time to myself so I can read it! LOL

My understanding is that you will be able to do a Sister Search in the Members Only Section. I don't know what information you will need. Confusion may reign when you look up a maiden name and they only have last and vice versa.

I hope that it is accurate, but unfortunately, having learned from being Perm. Secretary for my Alumnae Chapter, if a sister doesn't tell her chapter and/or IHQ where she is, she is probably "lost". I know that from looking at the list that I have, some of the Initation addresses from years ago are the only ones that IHQ has.

Side note, even if you don't "house-move", let your Perm. Sec. know when you change emails! I could get a "valid" email one week and the next week, it is "undeliverable".

Is November Alpha Gam time? ;) :D

I notice that AGD has hired Kathy Kish as our new IHQ Executive Director. The questions/answers" asked were interesting, but I wish they had posted one more..

"As a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, how do you think that will help you to relate to Alpha Gamma Delta sisters?"

Hopefully, "we're different, but the same".
